NEWS FROM ITALY
With Blended Training Course “The Taste of Language”, this Office (MIUR USR SICILIA Ufficio XV Ambito Terriotoriale di Palermo), together with the Office of Trapani and Enna has been selected as "GRASS-ROOT INNOVATOR" as part of the Network VISIR ("Vision, Scenarios, Insights and Recommendations on how ICT may help making lifelong learning a reality for all "), as an example of" micro innovative practices ".
The "micro innovative practices" are defined as cases innovative use of ICT born from below, where new technologies are successfully applied to teaching practice to develop digital skills and more.
The "micro innovative practices" are typically:
a) high-impact, i.e. they must have or have had an impact in the acquisition of digital skills and other skills (the impact may be on a large scale and can also be limited to cases on a small scale, such as the classes of a school, or a business organization)
b) bottom-up, ie they must arise from the idea of an individual, a class, a school, a university, an organization. Or it could be an unexpected result of an initiative / policy dictated from above.
c) innovative, there must be "something new" in the methodology of use of ICT, rather than within the scope or content of teaching practice
Micro innovative practices organized into four categories School, Higher Education, Learning at Work, Informal Learning
BLENDED TRAINING COURSE IS INSIDE “School” and “Informal learning”
